Cynthia Pearlman Benjamin is a Hebrew calligrapher. Her career began in 1973. Her work includes ketubot (Jewish marriage contracts) and other documents. Examples of her ketubot can be found in more than one hundred private collections in the United States, Israel and Europe.[citation needed] Benjamin's work often combines the Hebrew text with paper cuts, floral and geometric illuminations, and use of unusual materials.
