Cynthia Jane Cranz (Born March 3, 1969 in Grapevine, Texas) is an actress best known for her voice work portrayals of Chi Chi, Mrs.Brief and several others, in all three of the Dragon Ball series, Botan, in Yu Yu Hakusho, Mitch, in Case Closed and most recently Mitzi, in Shin Chan. She also plays Fei Ku, in Negima, Hisae, in Kodocha, and Miss Father's Day in One Piece.

Native of Fort Worth, TX, she has performed in local theater, been featured in numerous commercials, print ads, industrial videos, music videos, and independent films. Most notably, is her voice work on anime.
[edit] Voice Acting Career
In 1997, a friend urged her to go to an open call at FUNimation. She was cast as Chi Chi, in Dragon Ball Z, which was her break into the Anime voice dubbing industry. She has since played Botan (Yu Yu Hakusho), Mitch (Case Closed), and Hisae ( Kodacha). Other,credits include Full Metal Alchemist, as Paninya, Spiral, as Reiko, Fruits Basket, as Mii, Kiddy Grade, as Marianne, Lupin III, as Diana, and Desert Punk, as Dog Woman, and Ku Fei Negima. She has also appeared in Gunslinger Girl, Galaxy Railways, Moon Phase, Samurai 7, Beck, Black Cat and Speed Grapher, Bt'X, AM Drivers, Beet.

She can currently be heard on the Cartoon Network as Mitzi Nohara in Shin Chan. Other current projects include, Ragnarok: The Animation, Beet the Vandel Buster, B't X, and AM Driver.
