Cynamolgi

"Cynamolgi" was a term used by ancient European explorers to refer to a mythical civilization of people with dog-heads, who conversed only by barking. They were described by Strabo, an ancient Greek philosopher. Later, Marco Polo spoke of a similar race located in the Bay of Bengal.
