Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg (in SVG by Gmaxwell)

Originally created by Owain Owain in 1963 (see www.owainowain.net) this pecil sketch quickly became the official logo of Cymdeithas yr iaith. It's name Tafod y Ddraig (trans: the Dragon's Tongue) was also used as the title of the society's magazine, which is still printed.

The logo is owned by Cymdeithas yr iaith and can be used freely on the following pages:

  • Saunders Lewis
  • History of Plaid Cymru
  • Owain Owain
  • Tynged yr Iaith
  • History of the Welsh language
  • Tafod y Ddraig
