Talk:Cyberskin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Someone might want to add that talcum powder should never be used on any adult toy, especially ones used in the vagina, as it has been linked to cervical cancer! Also, cyberskin is a mix of silicone & PVC. Some PolyVinyl Chlorides contain "phthalates" (which is a widely plastic softener). Phthalates have been linked to negative health effects such as liver, kidney, and reproductive organ damage (esp. developing testes in male infants) Thus it is recommended that cyberskin toys be used in conjuction with a condom to prevent the possible direct absorbtion of this chemical into the Vaginal or Anal lining. Not to mention the fact that it aids significantly in cleanup. -TK

This entire article seems like it was copy/pasted from an ad about the stuff.

I removed the following: Not only will not cleaning your adult toy properly drastically reduce its lifespan, an unclean toy is an unsafe toy. Do not expose yourself or your partner to dangerous bacteria that could be lurking within the pores of a product. due to it having nothing to do with the topic.

Yeah, no reason for any sort of medical disclaimer here. Ho, ho, ho. TotalTommyTerror 17:22, 14 December 2005 (UTC)

No, there is no reason. Just because you read this article, doesn't mean that you own any product made with it, or that you have anything to do with the stuff. The warning isn't specific to this product, and doesn't have a place here. Wikipedia is not a guidebook. -- 69.65.232.61 21:41, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
