With all due respect, it would be wise to properly verify a proposed change to an article before committing. The "onside kick" was indeed a bug present in the original Cyberball that was removed in the Tournament version, and was specifically mentioned in the article as the most notable bugfix between versions. The article says the Tournament Cyberball version has some bugfixes and onside kicks. IIRC, the Tournament Cyberball 2072 arcade game did not have onside kicks. Does anyone know if there were onside kicks in the game? And if they are there, how to do them? Josteos 23:52, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

There is an onside kick of sorts on the original Cyberball arcade game, I don't know if it works on the 2072 version. If you have that version available give this a try.

After you score a touchdown, during the extra-point play, instead of going for the point(s) take the ball and go downward into your own endzone. The computer AI will try to stop you and lesser robots may run out of gas but if you make it there when tackled your robot will explode (because of the critical ball) and your opponent will be awarded a safety (2 points.) Then when kick-off comes around, it will be you receiving the ball.
