CyberLink

CyberLink is a multimedia software company that produces DVD playback, digital home, TV and burning software including PowerCinema (digital home), PowerDirector (video editing), DVD Suite (multimedia software suite), PowerDVD, PowerProducer (DVD authoring) and Power2Go (burning). Headquarters are based in Taipei, Taiwan with worldwide offices in Fremont, USA; Tokyo, Japan; and the Netherlands. The company was founded in 1996.
Currently, PowerCinema can be found being bundled with HP (i.e. QuickPlay), Acer (i.e. Arcade) and Dell laptops (i.e. Media Direct). CyberLink DVD Suite, PowerDVD and Power2Go may also be found on Samsung and Gateway PCs.
PowerDVD and PowerDirector are part of a larger family of multimedia software produced by CyberLink. Power2Go supports Blu-ray, BD, as of 2006-03-12. CyberLink BD Solution, the Blu-ray suite, includes PowerDVD BD, PowerProducer BD, Power2Go BD, PowerBackup BD and InstantBurn.
