- September 8, 2000 – Tropical Depression Nine makes landfall near Sabine Pass, causing little to no rainfall in Texas. [1][2]
- June 5, 2001 –
- August 9, 2002 – Tropical Storm Bertha (2002) makes landfall near Kingsville with 20 miles per hour (32 km/h) winds. Isolated rainfall of 1 inch (25 mm) also occurred.[3][4]
- September 7, 2002 – At least $5 million (2002 [[United States dollar|USD) in damage over South Texas after Tropical Storm Fay makes landfall near Port O'Connor with 50 miles per hour (80 km/h) winds. The worst damage was in Brazoria County where at least 1,000 buildings were damaged by winds and at least 1,500 homes damaged by flooding. Storm surge measured about 3 feet (0.9 m) along the coast. The San Antonio metropolitan area had widespread rainfall reports of 4 inches (102 mm) with isolated reports of 11 inches (279 mm). Fowlerton had the top rainfall total at 18.5 inches (470 mm). Tropical Storm Fay produced twelve tornadoes in Texas. There were zero fatalities.[5][6]
