[edit] Refernces style

Thank you for adding references to Parseval's theorem. There is a simpler (and nicer way) to format references, which you can now see in the article. I hope you can use this in the future. Thanks. You can reply here if you have comments. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:57, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Determinant

Howdy. Thanks for working on the footnote format in the article Determinant. Unfortunately, some of the edits are cutting across wiki markup. For example, the second sentence of the history section currently reads

The determinant "determines" whether the system has a unique solution (which occurs precisely if the determinant is non-zero). In this sense, det]] and Seki about 100 years later.

The "det]]" is part of a wikilink the rest of which has apparently been moved elsewhere. If you don't have time right now to fix this, could you revert back to the last stable version by Alison? I can reincorporate your changes tomorrow if you like — just put a note on my talk page. I'd recommend doing this sort of thing in a single edit in the future. You can preview the article before saving to make sure everything is just right. Michael Slone (talk) 04:42, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
