CVM may refer to:

  • Center for Veterinary Medicine
  • C virtual machine, a Java Virtual Machine distributed by Sun Microsystems[1][2] and used on mobile devices such as the Kindle[3].
  • General Pedro J. Méndez International Airport in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico (IATA Code: CVM)
  • Cardholder Verification Method, method of verifying that a purchaser has the right to use the card being offered (e.g. Signature or PIN).
  • Credential Validation Modules, a framework for validating credentials against a database using a filter program. [CVM was developed from experience with PAM (pluggable authentication modules), a checkpassword interface used by qmail-pop3d, and the "authmod" interface used by Courier IMAP and POP3.]
