Cutcombe is a village 9 miles (14 km) south of Minehead and north of Dulverton straddling the ridge between Exmoor and the Brendon Hills in Somerset. It has a population of 403.[1]
The the parish includes the village of Wheddon Cross and is the highest village within the Exmoor National Park at 980 feet (299 m) above sea level.
The parish church of St John has a 13th century tower and has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.[2]
