Talk:Cushing, Maine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cushing has many more then 1,000 people it has 1,500 and to my knowledge no hispanic, asian, or any other minoritie. A mention of the islands like Stones, Calwell, Goose Rock, or Gays would have been nice considering how important they are to the town. Less time spent on demographics that where incorrect and more on geography and history would have been nice. Maybe a side note of how succesful we are as a lobstering town! I applaud you for even mentioning a small town like mine but please get the facts straight before you do.
- The demographics come straight from the U.S Census Bureau's 2000 Census, and can be verified at the bureau's website, http://www.census.gov. All these statistics were added by a bot (an automated program that a user created) that created all these U.S. small town stubs. Looking at the statistics, it appears that there are at least a tiny handful of nonwhites living in the town. Feel free to add anything you like to the article (anyone can edit any article-- that's how Wikipedia works), but I'd suggest learning how Wikipedia works--the policies and standards that have evolved here--before you do so. Otherwise, your changes might be reverted. Also, don't forget to sign your comments by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your message. Ripogenus77 14:24, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
I know more then some bot I LIVE HERE so don't you discredit what I say from your data bullshit yes i made a population mistake for i pressed 3 not 1 but everything else I wrought was correct and you disrespected what I put their by taking out my Islands bit. You don't know a thing passed your little charts so except what I write as fact because it is with having to do with my home town. Neal
[edit] Suggestion
Simmer down there, chief. Cushing does have a few non-whites, and the census data is as up to date as one can expect. Unless you feel like going door-to-door taking a little census of your own, you're just going to have to hold your nose and go with the government's figures. If you want to add a few things, feel free! I'll be more than willing to help. After all, it's my hometown too!Mike 06:08, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
