Cushinstown

Cushinstown is one of the largest parishes in County Wexford, Ireland. There are 3 churches in the parish: Rathgarogue, Cushinstown and Terrerath. The parish has a population of approximately 2500. There are a number of villages in the parish including Ballywilliam, Cushinstown, Ballinaboola and Cassagh.

There are two primary schools in the parish. Cushinstown NS serves the Cushinstown and Terrerath areas while Rathgarogue NS serves people from the Rathgarogue area. Most people from the parish go to secondary school in the nearby town of New Ross as there is no secondary school in the parish.

The parish of Cushinstown is served by four sporting organisations. By far the most well-known of these is the Rathgarogue-Cushinstown GAA Clubor othwise known as the greatest GAA club. The others are Ballyanne Racquetball Club, Terrerath Badminton Club and Cushinstown A.F.C. (soccer), and the Cousin Tractor Towning Festival during the Baling Season.
