The Cushing Daily Citizen was a five-day daily newspaper published in Cushing, Oklahoma, United States.
Until October 2007, when it was purchased by the Sumner family, the paper was published every day except Monday and Saturday by Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. The Sumners, owners of four other Oklahoma papers, subsequently resold the paper to previous Citizen owner David Reid.[1]
The newspaper, a daily publication for more than 100 years, has now become a weekly publication, known as the Cushing Citizen.
