[edit] Squad table

I allowed myself the liberty of using your squad table at FC Carl Zeiss Jena as a template to update the 1. FC Magdeburg squad section. Hope you don't mind. :) --Madcynic 16:30, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Of course not, i've been trying to update a lot of the lower German teams rosters and it is nice that you have updated a team, saves me a job at least. --shanda 20:31, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Barça kit=

Can u see you are making it bad? No red in your shirt version

[edit] Ghana jersey

Why did you change the jersey colours at Ghana national football team? The team's jerseys have been confirmed as white with black and red with yellow for the 2006 World Cup [1] - the black jersey may be returning but not yet anyway. --Kwekubo 15:10, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Well since they have not competed in the red kit yet, I assumed it was a mistake on FIFA's website (they do happen), also to me it seems pretty ironic that 'The Black Stars' will not be competing in their all black kit. I guess we will find out for sure in a week or two, but for now I will just leave it as FIFA have confirmed it. --shanda 18:12, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Actually, there will be a large 'black' star in the form of a camouflage-style watermark, but not a black one [2]. It was a rushed job, I must admit... --Kwekubo 19:53, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Yeah I do realise that, I actually am a 'kitmaker' and have made several graphical representations of Ghana's kit, as well as having a brief connection to Puma, but like I said previously we will find out for definate at the World Cup or maybe in Ghana's next friendly match against Korea this Sunday. --shanda 19:57, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Barcelona's 06/07 Kit

Can you please change the current version of the Barcelona home jersey, with yours, its much more accurate. Abreuzinho 23:12, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

So? Are you going to put up your version of FC Barcelona's home kit or not. Please put yours up it looks a lot more closer to the real deal than the one that's currently up right now. Thanks, Abreuzinho 17:03, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
I understand where that unregistered user is coming from, because he uses Internet Explorer and the kit doesn't look as nice when using that, but in my opinion mine is a more accurate representation of the kit, especially using Firefox. --shanda 18:24, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Um hello my name is Dan, I was looking at the FC Barcelona article and I have noticed that you created the kits. Mind I suggesting that if you could please add the colar and cuff details to the away kit as seen here http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/5067/712543734fe.jpg , see how the cuffs and colars are blue, would you mind adding that on? GADA 02:59, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
I know what you mean, but in my opinion those detail are just too small to add, all the kit picture is their to represent is the colours of a kit, which is all orange, the blue and red cuffs and collar don't really change it, but if you feel as though it just needs to be done I suggest you get a good graphics program and try and edit it yourself, i'll give you help in how if you get stuck.

[edit] Watford Kit

Hullo. No request or anything, but I was just intirgued how you found out about the Watford kit! As far as I was aware, it was only leaked on Watford messageboards today and the club have hidden it again. And you're a Liverpool fan. Just curious, really. HornetMike 15:54, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi, Well I do a lot of looking about for new kits and just happened to be looking around some Watford message boards and found the picture so I decided to update the kits here, luckily I also saved the picture, so here is the picture if that is what you are looking for... [3] --shanda 18:24, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Ah, OK, cheers! HornetMike 23:36, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question

Hey, it seems like you know a bit about kits. I was wondering if you've come across any pictures of the new Chelsea FC and Real Madrid 2006/2007 kits? If you've have can I see the pictures? Thanks Abreuzinho 21:45, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Yeah I have, I just don't want to edit the team pages with the kits until they are officialy released by the clubs. Here are the pictures:
  • Chelsea home [4]
  • Chelsea away [5]
  • Chelsea third [6]
  • Real Madrid home [7]
  • Real Madrid away [8]
  • Real Madrid third [9]

--shanda 23:23, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

I wonder why the Chelsea jersey doesn't have those curvy lines going down through it like Real Madrid's shirt does and a lot of the teams in the world cup sponsered by adidas does.
The shirt does have those details, but the details are the same colour as the rest of the kit, blue, so they cannot be seen easily, here is another more detailed picture of the chelsea shirt and if you look carefully at where the design is you can see the outline. [10] --shanda 00:28, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi again. Do you have a picture of Juventus FC's new kit?
Yeah, here they are...

--shanda 22:03, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image licensing

Hello. Please don't put false licence tags on image pages, as you did with Image:Skala IF.png. Brandsoftheworld does not give you right to publish logos under GFDL. Conscious 14:29, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I am sorry, I have absolutely no idea what the licenses mean, I just try and follow the example of other uploaded logos, which carried the GDFL license, so I used that, please tell me what I should put and I will try and correct this mistake. I just wanted to make the Skála entry a bit more detailed. --shanda 15:08, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
It was a stupid mistake of mine, I have uploaded logos before and given them the correct license, it must just have totally slipped my mind, I have editted the licenses on the two other logos I did the same mistake on. Sorry again. --shanda 15:18, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, I recommend you study the Wikipedia:Image use policy. Otherwise you risk having images deleted and meeting some angry admins :) On the other hand, it was a good idea to improve the article and you acted right (leaving aside the licensing bit). Conscious 15:23, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] St Pauli

Haha, shame about St Pauli changing their kit from the camo...Do you know a website where i can see the new season's strip? Thanks alot Narsamson 11:41, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

I thought the camouflage kit looked great and it fitted in with Pauli traditions much more than the new white and black kit, here is a picture of it from a friendly match against Poppenbüttel

[edit] Second Bundesliga scheule by month

I've worked on a table for domestic league matches. If you want to use a table for the 2nd Bundesliga games, go to Fußball-Bundesliga 2006/07 Kingjeff 01:59, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

It does seem like a good idea but I feel it just looks too cluttered and would be much easier to negotiate through the fixtures and results month by month, plus I am planning to add an end of month table to each page so it is easy to check a teams progress through a season. --shanda 08:54, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regionalliga

I think it's worth the article since. But some might say it's streching it. But I'm willing to work on it. Let's go ahead and make it. But this is as far as it goes as far as the German leagues are concern. Kingjeff 23:29, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I've already called it Fußball Regionalliga 2006/07. Do you think this is the correct title? Kingjeff 23:37, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I seriously doubt that someone would create an Austrian counterpart anytime soon. They don't even keep a counterpage for the Austrian 1st Bundesliga 2006/07 or any other season. Kingjeff 23:42, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] FC Nitra and Slovak football

Thanks for the great work. I wanted to do something similar but still had not enough time and courage...good job Martye 08:58, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Maybe you would be willing to help out with it when you can, the lower league clubs could especially use more detail and the main problem I have is traslating the language and thanks a lot for your really nice words, I was starting to wonder just how many people were looking at the pages and if it was helping anyone and now I know :) --shanda 10:06, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DFB Cup

Did you start the German Cup 2006/07? Because the dates you have for August should be for September. Kingjeff 13:49, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Yeah I did and thanks for pointing that out to me, it's now been corrected. --shanda 15:01, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 2nd Bundesliga

Do you want to close the afd now? It's obvious that noone else is going to vote and it's getting extraordinarily annoying having to see that everytime I go on to the page. Kingjeff 15:23, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

I'd love to get rid of it too, but I don't think it is for us to decide, just have to wait until a moderator decides the artcile is worthy to keep even though everyone in the discussion has said it should be kept. --shanda 15:26, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Soccer season templates

Do you know how to create one of these templates?

Would you be able to create one for The Football League? Kingjeff 19:50, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Results template

Just to say that we are using a different results template for Serie A if you want to use it for the Bundesliga page.

Template:Football_(soccer)_table_results_20_teams

Here's a blank copy:

Ascoli Atalanta Cagliari Catania ChievoVerona Empoli Fiorentina Inter Lazio Livorno Messina AC Milan Palermo Parma Reggina Roma Sampdoria Siena Torino Udinese

Niall123 10:29, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Why though? This format looks absolutley awful, the boxes are no where close to being equal lengths and it scrolls off of the screen on 1024x768 resolution monitors, I really hope you decide to change this formatting. --shanda 11:27, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Really ? Check out: Serie_A_2005-06#Results Table which is a completed copy. All the boxes are exactly the same and I'm using a 1024x768 pixel set up. Fair enough with the criticism though. A few of us agreed on this template again as its been used a few times on past serie a seasons.

Niall123 11:42, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Interesting that. This is how it appears to me. [14] Are you sure your browser is fully updated. The teams along the top are being shown vertical on my screen and hence the boxes are the same.

Niall123 12:02, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

I've had a similar expierience with Firefox. A template which was designed to hide when not in use, worked on Firefox but was tripe on IE. I'm amazed that Firefox doesn't cover this basic internet function. By the way, I just realised that the Bundesliga is 18 teams so Template:Football_(soccer)_table_results_18_teams Niall123 12:38, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Someone put the article up for deletion. Vote to keep it.Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fußball-Bundesliga - September 2006 Kingjeff 20:40, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

I was hoping you could fill in the schedule part. The other empty part won't be filled in til at least this friday. Kingjeff 21:09, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
