[edit] Purpose
- To inform readers that the current article contents are subject to rapid change due to a highly related current event.
- Articles closely related to current events may greatly expand their content due to level of activity, publicity, and such.
[edit] Usage
- Place this template at the top of the article, if the entire article is relevant to the related article.
- Alternatively, place the template in an appropriate section of the article, and use the first araticle to indicate that the "section" is relevant to the ralted article.
- Use the second paramater to specify the name of the current event article this is related to.
- Failing to indicate what the article is related to may cause this template to be removed promptly.

Since the page is protected, I thought I would point out to someone that is capable of editing the page that "promptly" is spelled incorrectly as "promtly". Chicken Wing (talk) 22:03, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Template:Current-section is now a redirect. - Please also correct the spelling of promtly to "promptly" in the guidelines section.
