Template documentationThis template returns the English week day abbreviation (between mon and sun) for today (UTC time, as set on the Wikipedia server.
- Syntax:
- {{CURRENTWEEKDAYNAME}}
- Note:
- This template may be implemented natively in the local Wikipedia server; with the syntax above, you'll use the native implementation, when available.
- Make sure that the returned value displayed in the above example equals "Friday" exactly. Otherwise update the names in the Template:WEEKDAYNAME template.
