[edit] Surprise

I was surprised that no mention was made of CM-branded TV sets, which, to the best of my knowledge, were sold in the 1960s up to some point in the 1970s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.56.69.6 (talk • contribs)

[edit] Significance

Maybe it's just me, but Curtis Mathes seems like a very significant American corporation and is worthy of a more substantial article. I'll add that to the long list of things I'd like to do, but I hope someone else who is more knowledgeable will step up. Rstandefer 14:35, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] video rentals

Perhaps it was just in Eugene, Oregon but back when VCRs were brand new the only place you could rent videos was Curtis Mathes. They carried both VHS and Beta. It was several years later that specialty rental stores started popping up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.22.125.104 (talk) 11:40, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
