A large part of the history section appears to have been lifted from the Curtis web site, especially from this page. I have deleted that text. Feel free to add the information back in another form. RossPatterson 01:46, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

I removed this portion:

In 1999, Mandarin Chinese and Korean were introduced.(This is a lie as a former student who graduated in 2005 Chinese and Korean were never offered)

Since the issue seems to be contested, it's best not to have the information on the page at all, especially the comment, which should be left in the Discussion section. As a former Curtis student from 1999-2002 I personally have no recollection of Maqndarin or Korean ever being offered. I do not remember Japanese ever being offerred either - hopefully someone can confirm this. Boiler Bro Joe 11:45, December 04 2006

[edit] I took Japanese there

When I attended Curtis (1985-1988) Japanese was offered, Mandarin and Korean were not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.119.129.16 (talk) 19:43, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] According to the Curtis HS foreign lang. dept. page, Japanese is no longer offered

Too bad. I also took German there, and it seems as if Mrs. Haugeto has retired (she taught German and French) It is nice to see that Latin is offered again, though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.119.129.16 (talk) 19:47, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
