I can remember watching sat. afternoon baseball games, enjoying hearing Curt and partner Tony Kubeck calling the game. Curt was one of the best broadcaster in the game. He will be missed. --66.160.55.213 02:35, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

I am Curt Gowdys Grandaughter, He will most definitely be missed. Thank you for acknowledging him he truely was an amazing sports caster and man and the best grandfather ever! Also, curious as to why citation is needed for statement made on an NFL films episode but not for the quote about the Red Sox's future? User:Mj161 21:26, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

When did he retire from the busniess? Was the 80's, or the early '90's when he retired, and left the spotlight?
