[edit] Merges

There are two sub-articles which are both stub-length. We could probably merge the lot in here. Chris Cunningham 18:03, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

This page has too many different types of products covered on it. "Currency detector" should by design be 2 different topics, "coin acceptor", and "bill acceptor". Also, most of the people who frequent this page and could expand it are professionals working for the manufacturers of these things (I know I am). and we are bound by contract to maintain control over intellectual property and copyrights. I can say that the technologies are completely different, even as to how they transport currency, but I'm not allowed to go any further than that. To merge all this together, while it might make a larger article, misrepresents the underlying technologies involved. What's it going to be? word count, or accuracy? -m--76.161.193.126 (talk) 15:35, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Without something more than nebulous comments about how these devices are totally different on an IP basis, there's no reason to split them again. There's no way for readers to verify that your comment is correct, and thus it would be inappropriate to act on it without further evidence. Chris Cunningham (talk) 18:59, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
