Talk:Curdy (character)

[edit] Article issues
There are many issues with this article. It would probably be a good approach to fix one of the related articles, rather than creating many, which all have related misconceptions.
First, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising site or a fan site. There are too many references, and they go to publicity-related articles.
You've cut-and-pasted references without any particular point from the Artur Balder article (which, incidentally, has FAR too many references).
You may have used "The Princess and the Goblin" and the "George MacDonald" articles as templates? That's actually a good idea. The problem is that MacDonald is a hugely influential author, with many publications, who is dead. The situation here is not the same, the article should explain a good deal more. (Either that, or be deleted, since it has so little content.)
Using non-English references in an English Wiki is discouraged, for the obvious reason that many English speakers won't be able to read them.
The picture is titled "Harry Potter character", which is incorrect.
More importantly, the image itself seems to be in violation of Wiki policy, since it has "some rights reserved". In terms of quality, I'm sorry, but that's just a throw-away sketch that many teenagers from an art class could do in 5 minutes. It should be deleted.
You've translated reference titles without saying that you did so.
The link to Random house is broken.
There are two sections called "External Links"
There's no point in having a "Template:Curdy characters" that doesn't exist put on the page.
