Might it be better to move this to Curandero, the more general term for traditional mexican healers, since it includes both men and women? --Spangineer 20:47, Apr 26, 2005 (UTC)

do you know if curanderas were persicuted durring the salem witch trials? are there any specific ledgends about them??
