Talk:Cura te ipsum

Is this made more classical by translating it into Latin? Wetman 18:47, 26 Nov 2003 (UTC)
I deleted the mention of etymology of Luke, because according to an Etymology dictionary, the name Luke does not seem to be linked to light. -- BenStevenson 22:14, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
The two end paragraphs:
- "The author of the Gospel of Luke was himself a physician...."
- "An adage clearer than Cura te ipsum is hardly possible..."
Although I would love to see this advert for Luke's Gospel, I am not sure that it helps increase knowledge of the Proverb Cura te ipsum. Should these paragraphs be deleted? -- BenStevenson 22:45, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Poetic translation?
I've heard the term "Physician, heal thyself!" before. Does this derive from the same Latin phrase? If so, I think it should be included. --Icarus (Hi!) 19:32, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
