November 25, 2007 - The Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 23-19 to win the Canadian Football League's Grey Cup. The game was played indoors at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
It was the third time that the Cup was won by the Roughrider franchise, and the first time since their win in 1989 over Hamilton, which was coincidentally played in the same stadium, when it was known as Skydome. It was also the first time that Saskatchewan had faced Winnipeg in the 95 Grey Cup championships played to date.
James Johnson, a cornerback on the Roughriders defence was named the Most Outstanding Player of the game, due to his Grey Cup record three interceptions.
