Curley the Crow, by [D. F. Barry], 1878. (PD) Also spelled "Curly." Curley's Crow name was Ashishishe. He was born in in Montana about 1858 and died in 1923. He became famous as a scout for Custer in 1876. He is thought by some to have been the only survivor of the U.S. forces at Custer's Last Stand.
