Curtis McElhinney (born May 23, 1983, in London, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for the Quad City Flames, but has previously played with the Calgary Flames. During his backup stint for Calgary, McElhinney started only one game. McElhinney was sent back to the American Hockey League after Calgary signed veteran goaltender Curtis Joseph to a 1 year contract.

He was drafted 176th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Despite beginning his pro career as a back-up to highly-touted prospect Brent Krahn, Krahn's recurring injuries allowed McElhinney to become the lead goaltender for the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights in 2005–06, an American Hockey League All-Star in 2006–07 and the Calgary Flames back-up goaltender in 2007–08.

McElhinney made his National Hockey League debut on October 22, 2007 against the San Jose Sharks in relief of starter Miikka Kiprusoff.
