[edit] Past Productions
Curious&Company's first production, in September 2006, was Habagat, a darkly comic horror set in the 1840s on the crumbling, remote Pacific island of Habagat. This was a new story created and devised by the company and written and directed by Peter Langdon, with original music by Julie Tallis. It starred Hetty Abbot, Jane Angharad, Jo Ayre, and Julie Tallis. Lighting design was by Ciaran Cunningham.
The company then presented Afterwards, a one-act comedy based around four female variety performers in the shadow of the Great War, at the Hen and Chickens Theatre, Islington in December 2006. The play again starred Hetty Abbot, Jane Angharad, Jo Ayre, and Julie Tallis, and was written and directed by Peter Langdon.
Most recently, the company produced Paris, a new play written and directed by Peter Langdon which aimed to tell the whole history of Paris in one play, through the lives of 72 unknown Parisians. It was performed in May 2007, and starred Jane Angharad and Julie Tallis. Original music was again provided by Tallis, with Ciaran Cunningham as lighting designer.
In August 2007 Curious&Company presented a thoroughly reworked version of Habagat at the Edinburgh Fringe. It featured all of its original cast and creative team, and ran from August 6th to 25th at Rocket@Demarco Roxy Arthouse.
