[edit] What are the true origins of cup-a-soup?

Is the Dutch cup-a-soup the same as the British one? I read on the Dutch wikipedia article that it was created in 1974 by the Dutch soup company Royco, but on the article Batchelors I read that it was launched in 1972 by a British company. Was there a relation between Batchelors and Royco? SietskeEN 13:30, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
