Cupramontana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ancona in the Italian region Marche, located about 35 km southwest of Ancona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,859 and an area of 26.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Cupramontana contains the frazione (subdivision) Poggio Cupro.
Cupramontana borders the following municipalities: Apiro, Maiolati Spontini, Mergo, Monte Roberto, Rosora, San Paolo di Jesi, Serra San Quirico, Staffolo.
