Cuonzo LaMar Martin (born September 23, 1971 in East St. Louis, Illinois) is a retired American professional basketball player and is the current head coach of the Missouri State Bears men's basketball team.

Cuonzo Martin attended Purdue University, where he played for Gene Keady and alongside with NBA star Glenn Robinson. The 6'6", 215 lb G/F helped lead the Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball team to consecutive Big Ten Conference Titles in 1994 and 1995 and an Elite Eight appearance. Martin held future NBA players Shawn Respert of Michigan State and Wisconsin's Michael Finley to their season lows in scoring as a senior. Known as the team's defensive stopper, he was also deadly beyond the arc. He left Purdue with the career 3 pt. treys record with 179 and the second highest 3 pt% at .469 percent. Martin was awarded 1st Team All Big Ten honors his senior season.

Martin was selected by the Atlanta Hawks as the 57th pick in the 2nd round of the 1995 NBA Draft. He played in only seven career NBA games for the Vancouver Grizzlies (1995-96, an expansion team) and Milwaukee Bucks (1996-97). He also played professionally in the CBA and in Italy (in Serie A2 in 1997 for 4 months for Cirio Avellino).

Martin served as an assistant coach for the Purdue University basketball staff under former coach Gene Keady and current coach and former teammate, Matt Painter, from 2000-2008. After helping the Boilermakers turn around it's program, Martin accepted to take a head coaching position starting the '08-'09 season at Missouri State University of the Missouri Valley Conference on March 25, 2008. He replaces Barry Hinson as the Bears head coach.
