The Cunningham Cup is a regular rugby union fixture between two of Singapore's leading international schools; United World College [1] and Tanglin Trust School. The match is played in accordance with the Under 19's laws of rugby union.
The inaugural match was played on 17 November 2007 at the Singapore Cricket Club as part of the memorial matches played in remembrance of the rugby players killed in the Bali bombings in October 2002.
The first match was won by United World College in a close match; the final score being 30 points to 13.
The Cunningham Cup was presented by Mr Phil Cunningham [2] ; a long time member of the Singapore Cricket Club, parent of former students of both Tanglin Trust School and United World College and a governor of Tanglin Trust School.
