Talk:Cultural depictions of Alexander the Great
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Corrected some info on the computer game section (that Alexander is the second R:TW expansion, and that Pericles is also a Greek leader in a later Civ 4 expansion). --81.233.196.49 (talk) 15:15, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Inconsistent table format
Just a note to other editors: I'm converting this page to table format in the style of Cultural depictions of Joan of Arc as time permits. Help is welcome. Durova 22:56, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nice work
I like this approach. I've just read the Joan of Arc and Newton ones (and added a comment at Talk:Isaac Newton). Something similar has happened at The Lord of the Rings in popular culture, though that is not a historical matter. This has got me thinking... Cultural depictions of Jesus anyone? :-) Carcharoth 05:20, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- In particular, see the {{After Tolkien navbox}} template, which brings the popular culture article together with two others: "Adaptations of" and "Works inspired by". I've thought that something similar could be sone with Shakespeare. Carcharoth 05:23, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Actually I've suggested that for Jesus (who currently has three separate pages, two of which are already under a merger proposal). See Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Core biographies/Cultural depictions of core biography figures. Durova 04:14, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Random trivia
Almost forgot. Skandar Keynes was, apparently, named after the Persian name for Alexander the Great. Too trivial I think to go in here, but just thought I'd pop it on the talk page. Carcharoth 06:27, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
