[edit] John Bowen Brown Entry
I really object to the member including my name as a cult apologist. The member also linked it to a derogatory Wikipedia entry about me. Can anyone help with this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by John196920022001 (talk)

- I would like to thank whoever got that Wikipedia article me removed. Since I am apparently now under attack I am going to post my CV on my user page so members can verify some of the items that were called into question in that article. I suspect this is not the last time a member will attempt this.John196920022001 (talk)
In my opinion, there's still a problem with the comments regarding Brown in this article. There are two footnotes purportedly supporting the notion that he is a "cult apologist", however in actuality neither one of those references support that conclusion in a direct way. It's the editor who wrote this that's claiming on their own authority that the conclusion can be made at all, including the classic "weasal word" use of the word "may". If this can't be supported by a reliable source, I don't see how an article on this topic, written in a neutral fashion, should even include Brown. The present version reads like a continuation of the kind of smear tactics that were employed in the recently removed article about Brown himself.Deconstructhis (talk) 21:35, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

- What's the rule if a member sees a Wikipedia article about themselves? Can they interfere and change it if they can maintain a NPOV during the editing process?John196920022001 (talk)
- Removed this paragraph
I removed this paragraph, as it was basically just conjecture, and poorly sourced. Cirt (talk) 09:01, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
