    [edit] Switching from Alpha to Topical Portal List

    How about switching from the alpha (template:Portals) to the topical (template:Main portals) Portal list? Even with the relatively small number of portals displayed, the topical list is much easier to browse. As time goes by, the topical list will be very much easier to follow. Here's a comparison.     The current comedy/tragedy icon is masking (pun intended) an important point: Cultures uphold values; our values are the reasons that we do things; values are a very clear explanation for the actions of a human being. We need an icon that exemplifies some value (like the face of the Maori chieftain, whose tatoos were symbols for his background/heritage) or heritage. --Ancheta Wis 11:46, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

    I have initiated "Template:Culturebox" and "Template:Cultureboxend" to be used in a similar way as Template:Politbox. Example of usage: {{Culture of South Africa}} at Culture of South Africa.
