Culverhay School is a boys secondary school situated at Rush Hill, Odd Down in Bath, England. There are around 500 boys in years 7-11 and a co-educational sixth form. In 2004 Culverhay was awarded Specialist Status in Maths and Computing. Culverhay runs community courses and workshops in the evenings. Culverhay School's sports facilities are the best in the local area. The swimming pool is open evenings and weekends, manned by Aquaterra. Holiday play clubs are also run at Culverhay for children aged 5 - 13.
Recently Culverhay are bidding for a radio station to be setup. Students will soon be running the show broadcasting around the school. When it is set up, Culverhay will be looking at buying a community licence to broadcast to Bath and its surrounding areas.
In 2006 the school received one of four prizes in the national Sport Relief program's competition for schools. The prize was awarded for a plan devised by the pupils to raise money for the program by travelling 1,355 miles by running, swmming, cycling and kayaking. Swimmer Sharron Davies visited the school to award the prize.
