Culver CityBus is a public transport agency operating in Culver City, California, currently serving Culver City, the unincorporated community of Marina del Rey, and the adjacent Los Angeles neighborhoods of Venice, Westchester, Westwood, West Los Angeles, Palms, Rancho Park, Mar Vista, and Century City. Its entire fleet is painted bright green, distinguishing it from Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus, orange-colored Metro Local buses, and red-colored Metro Rapid buses, whose coverage areas overlap on Los Angeles's Westside.
Culver CityBus and Santa Monica Big Blue Bus participate in BruinGo, in which UCLA students and staff can swipe their BruinCard (university ID) on the farebox so that the university pays a part of the fare.

Culver CityBus and Big Blue Bus were founded in 1928, making them the oldest municipal transit agencies in California.

[edit] Line 1 - Washington Blvd
Runs from Windward Circle in Venice Beach to the West L.A. Transit Center at Washington Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue via Washington Boulevard.
[edit] Line 2 - Sunkist Park
Runs from Fox Hills Mall to Venice High School. Operates Monday through Friday only.
[edit] Line 3 - Century City
Also known as "Crosstown." This route runs from Century City to Mesmer and Centinela Avenues. Former termini were at the Westside Pavilion and Fox Hills Mall.
[edit] Line 4 - Jefferson Blvd.
Runs from the Fox Hills Mall to the West L.A. Transit Center on Washington Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue via Jefferson Boulevard. Operates Monday through Friday only.
[edit] Line 5 - Braddock Dr.
Runs from Venice High School to Blair Hills via Braddock Drive. Operates Monday through Friday only when Culver City schools are in session.
[edit] Line 6 - Sepulveda Blvd.
The longest route of the agency, Line 6 runs from UCLA primarily along Sepulveda Boulevard to the Aviation Metro Green Line Station. In 2003, the southern terminus was changed from the LAX City Bus Center to the Aviation Green Line Station after Metro decided to cancel line 561. The northern terminus was moved to the UCLA Ackerman Terminal from the UCLA Transit Center.
Culver CityBus will have a Rapid version of this route, commencing in January 2009.

Line 7 operates from Marina Del Rey's Fisherman's Village to the intersection of Venice and Culver Boulevards. Runs primarily on Culver Boulevard. Does not operate on Sundays.

Culver CityBus currently operates 46 buses. All, except for 7092-7097, are New Flyer C40LF. All are clean buses and have been acquired in 1998 and 2002. Buses acquired in 2002 have LED Luminators. Culver CityBus has retired its old fleet, mostly made of buses by Flxible, TMC/RTS, and Gillig.
All buses are numbered 70-- and 71--.
Buses were originally painted green and white, but all buses were repainted to all green in 2000.
