[edit] History
Having formed in 1992, Culture Kultür spent the next few years recording a succession of self-released 12" singles and EPs. The eventually secured a deal with the Out of Line label in 1999, who released the EPs 'Manifesto' and the album 'Reflex' (both comprising of previously recorded material) as well as the EP 'DNA Slaves', their first new material for that label (also the first release featuring Salva Maine as lead vocalist). The project toured Europe with Hocico and K.I.F.O.T.H..
The second album 'Revenge' followed in 2001, indicating a move in a poppier direction. The album yield club hits such as 'Forever' and 'War Is Over'. The 'Combat' EP arrived a year later, but the band then fell quiet for a few years (barring occasional live shows and collaborations) before returning with 'Reborn' in 2005.
