Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington

The Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington (CAGW) has aimed to build and maintain support for the arts in the Washington, D.C. area, since 1978. Bringing together music, theater, film, dance, visual arts, including galleries and museums, literary, and arts education organizations, its member network spans all areas of the arts. CAGW programs include a series of Arts Management Workshops (AMWs), a healthcare program for individual members, the Regional Arts Calendar in conjunction with the Washington Post, and TicketPlace, a discounted, same-day ticket office located in Gallery Place/Chinatown in conjunction with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
