Culpeper County High School, properly abbreviated CCHS, is the sole High School in Culpeper County, Virginia however a new second high school ( Eastern View ) is currently in the works. Its Principal is Dr. Jeffrey J. Dietz. The school is comprised of classrooms throughout three different buildings: The whole of the CCHS building, an annex with 18 additional classrooms, and scattered classrooms within the Culpeper Middle School (CMS) building located directly across from CCHS. It commonly uses the acronym BDP, short for "Blue Devil Pride", in posters in the school. Its gymnasium is named after William Pearson, one of its most popular principals, who served from the 1970s to the 1990s.
