Let's try to keep this category free of self-promoting, okay? If an article fits better into People from Chicago, History of Chicago, Music venues in Chicago, etc, then that's where it belongs. Everything and anything could be interpreted as being part of the culture of Chicago, so I am paring the category down to the things that are unique to Chicago, and are universal to Chicagoans. This category needs to be mean and lean if it is to survive another CfD challenge. Speciate 19:27, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Changing the description of the category on the top of the page to explain what it should be used for would probably be beneficial to your goal.Shsilver 20:18, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
