Cuisine of Tibet is part of WikiProject Central Asia, a project to improve all Central Asia-related articles. This includes but is not limited to Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Xinjiang, Tibet and Central Asian portions of Iran and Russia, region-specific topics, and anything else related to Central Asia. If you would like to help improve this and other Central Asia-related articles, please join the project. All interested editors are welcome. |

What is that alcoholic beverage called, where you add hot water to a mug full of fermented millet and drink through a metal straw? I had this at Tibetan restaurants in Kathmandu...I think it is called "Thonkpa" or "Thukpa"? I'llresearch and try to add.76.175.171.25 (talk) 21:28, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Morningwindow
