Country Music
Cud also describes a specific family of country music that is particulary "twangy." Examples include Brad Paisley's "I Love to Fish," Tracy Byrd's "Drinking Bone," and Kenny Chesney's "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy."
I haven't ever heard of this, and a websearch produces no uses of this idiom. If anyone has some sources, great, otherwise it should be kept out. Ziggurat 09:51, September 11, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] some simplicity
I came to this article after wondering what "chews the cud" means. After reading the article through 3 times i still have no idea. Perhaps this article needs a simple explanation of what cud is? And then it can go into detail.
Motion is seconded. All I wanted to know was what the hell cud is. I still have no idea after reading this article. Perhaps a brief summary paragraph before the technical jargon?
