Cucumerunio websteri delli is a freshwater mussel, endemic to the North Island of New Zealand, north of the city of Auckland. It is found in gritty, sandy areas of streams.
The shell is large and elongated, with subparallel dorsal and ventral margins. The post embryonic sculpture is obsolete to subobsolete, and when present, is restricted to the post-medial area. There is a distinct tendency for the growth stages to become prominently ledged posteriorly.
Colour is greenish to olive-brown.
Height is up to 47 mm, length 96 mm, and thickness 25 mm.
