The candidates are approved by the electoral commitees not the CCP. I have removed the misleading second sentence.--Zleitzen 19:51, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
- The phrase "claimed to be" is uncited, and appears to be POV and violates WP:NPOV. BruceHallman 17:57, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Ultramarine, I hate to bring back a wellworn phrase, but you appear to be "desperately misreading opposing views" again. That the nominees are elected at local level is a fact regardless of what anyone thinks about it. What you have added is a point of view about that fact. This template is purely for basic information, not complex views. --Zleitzen 23:04, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Your text states nominates, not elects.Ultramarine 23:06, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Furthermore, this seeems to be a clear factual errors since even the pro-Castro sources state that the candidates are nominated by a special organisation.Ultramarine 23:11, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Fundamentally, the nomination process is per their Constitution, like most countries. Why make it more mysterious than that? BruceHallman 15:49, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
