Cuban Wolfhound

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cuban Wolfhound is a breed of domestic dog (canis lupus familiaris), specifically a sighthound. The name originates from its purpose (wolf hunting) rather than from its appearance. Cuban Wolfhounds, new to the wolfhound family, are smaller than their Irish and Russian cousins, and are more renowned for their ability to hunt vermin rather than wolves. Additionally, Cuban Wolfhounds possess a differential feature, webbed feet - distinguishing them as dogs who are bred to work in the water. [1]
