Cuban Rugby Union

The Cuban Rugby Union is the governing body for rugby union in the Cuba. It was founded in 1996.

The current patron is Alberto Granado, an Argentine, who like his friend, Che Guevara is considered one of the state's revolutionary heroes as well as a keen rugby player. The pair knew each other through rugby, and were the main characters in the film The Motorcycle Diaries
