Dr. Hani Abdel-Nabi Ph.d (Hani A. Nabi) born February 1, 1949. He is an immigrant from Egypt, where he earned a degree from the University of Alexandria, he completed his Ph.d. at Ohio State University. He is currently preciding as Chair of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the University at Buffalo, a SUNY college. Dr. Nabi is renowned in his field and is respected as one of the best nuclear medicine physicians in the world. He is honored for his invention of Photosensitizers which detect tumors by positron emission tomography and simultaneously treats them by photodynamic therapy. His research has lead to breakthroughs in cancer diagnoses and treatment as well as diagnosing tumors and blood clots. His field includes diagnosing and treating diseases and otherwise that can be detected by PET/CT scans. He has been honored with many awards from organizations from around the globe. His publications are used college classes and his research has lead to the saved lives of many. He is one of the most renowned physicians in his field and his name is known around the world.
