I'm unsure whether to do a link to object (computer science) at the first mention of 'object'. -- towo 15:55, 2004 Jun 19 (UTC)
And I'm changing it to "name" or "symbol". Object is either too specific (if you think of a class instance) or non-specific (a "thing"). JöG 13:12, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ctags variants
I've added sections for etags (from Emacs) which needs expansion, and Exuberant Ctags. I don't know if there are others but if there are they need to be added.
