[edit] Ramadan riots

ASA. Desperate help needed on islamophobic article Ramadan riots which is actually the same thing as French riots. Claims that the french unrest in the ghetoes was motivated by hatred of jews and christians as allegedly commanded by the quran. Support speedy deletion. Aaliyah Stevens 00:10, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Now that I've registered, I will follow all the guidelines (you've probably read my talk page, right) By the way, your comment isn't offensive at all. My opinion is not just on Kazakhstan, but whole Central Asia. Like I said, a lot of articles on this topic, are being altered. For example: Andijan Massacre, is an event, according to all human rights organizations and the governments of Western countries, where civilians were killed, while protesting against the ways of corrupt government, the poor living conditions, and such. The government of Uzbekistan, and it's allies say that it was Terrorists. Now the article is rewritten in a such fashion that one will believe the "official" version of the story, even the article's title is changed to Civil unreast. I think, or at least hope, that you know who is behind all this editing, or censoring to be more correct. Please take your time to read some of the articles regarding this, and doing a little research yourself, and seeing the difference. Thank you. TheColdTruth 04:41, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] State terrorism

You need to cleanup the stuff you are posting before you post it. For starters, you should not capitalize "Terrorism" in your subheading when it is not a proper noun. Put spaces between your periods and your next sentence. Refrain from editorializing - as you did with Terrorism in Uzbekistan when you described prisons as "Gulag like." KazakhPol 19:06, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

On Terrorism in Uzbekistan I am looking at your references but I do not see the 5 to 25 thousand prisoners mentioned... I do see the estimation of 6,000 imprisoned for their religion. Am I missing it? This is the sole reason I reverted your edits to the page. KazakhPol 03:16, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hi Cs

I noticed both articles were a little bit lacking, especially the Mirjakip Dulatuli one, and it would be great to work together to make a good article about it. The name problem is one I have thought of a rather lot, and I'm really not sure what to do. We'll have the same problem with Abai's article. Would it work if we put the Russian transliterations redirecting there, and had the Russian transliterations somewhere on the page (for Google?). Or must we switch to using the Russian names? I also am eager to work together to make great article out of them, and am not very old at Wikipedia, so if you see any of my mistakes, or misunderstandings, feel free to correct them!--Erkin2008 21:13, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rfc

Thank you for the notice. I have added my 2 cents on the page. However, I am a little confused on what our expected outcome should be. It appears that this page has been around since Feb 21st without any effect or official comment. Are there alternatives with more teeth?

Best regards, Djma12 01:06, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Andijan Massacre Improvment

Hi Cs, thanks for helping on the article. I'm glad that, there are people like you, that have noticed KazakhPolice's POV habits. (By the way, he wanted us both to be banned[1] for that) The article has improved a lot. Since, I'm still learning the whole Wikipedia editing, people like you have been really helpful. [edit] Your opinion please...

I know you decided to withdraw your participation in the {{cfd}} for the subcategories for Category:Guantanamo Bay detainees. But I would really appreciate some feedback on those categories.

I remain mystified as to what is wrong with the categories I started. And I am extremely disappointed that no-one, at all, has done me the courtesy to read my reply to the concerns raised in the discussion.

I was glad to see you thought some of the categories merited preservation. When you were still planning to continue participating in the discussion I was hoping I could ask to name a couple of the categories you thought did not merit preservation, with as much time as you thought you could spare to explain why.

If you would still be willing to explain why even one of these categories should go, I would be extremely grateful. And, if you were to choose to reply, I would immediately respect your wishes if you said you didn't want to answer any more questions.

Thanks in advance, and hopefully after too! -- Geo Swan 19:30, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

could you read the poem?--Sa.vakilian(t-c) 18:43, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

This is Sa'di's poem. He wants to say the harmony of his poems don't let enemies sneer. I mean the harmony which you've made do so.

[edit] Template:Central Asia

I added some examples for assessment classification. There is a problem. We can't show the importance or priority of the articles by the tag for example in talk:Greater Khorasan.--Sa.vakilian(t-c) 19:42, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

I corrected the template:WikiProject Central Asia on the basis template:WikiProject Iran, but there should be another problem because it doesn't work:talk:Greater Khorasan--Sa.vakilian(t-c) 03:16, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Please check the assessment and compare it with similar assessments like Wikipedia:WikiProject Iran/Assessment and Wikipedia:WikiProject Islam/Assessment.--Sa.vakilian(t-c) 03:19, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
I can't find what you mentioned:Category: Stub class Central Asia articles. Apparently there isn't any problem and Category:Central Asia articles by quality works correctly.--Sa.vakilian(t-c) 03:45, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Excuse me. I can't help you. Please refer to User:Kirill Lokshin. He's the guy who has designed Template:WPMILHIST.--Sa.vakilian(t-c) 11:53, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Central Asia

All the stuff you've done to Wikipedia:WikiProject Central Asia, you've deleted about 80% of the information, it needs to be reverted back before you started messing with it. Experiments should be done in the sandbox. Chris 21:06, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] {{Central Asia-stub}}

Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 06:15, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks - will do. Yeah, CAsia-stub's been around for quite a while, and there are also specific stubs for each country in the region. Grutness...wha? 07:07, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
PS - I've noticed that several of the articles that were stubbed with this shouldn't have been, because they were already in subcategories of Cat:Central Asia stubs. if something is already marked as, for example, a Uzbekistan-geo-stub, it doesn't need a more general CAsia-stub as well. Grutness...wha? 07:25, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
I've added all the relevant stub templates I can think of to the WP Central Asia template subpage - hopefully that will help some. Grutness...wha? 02:21, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR block

Hi. You have been blocked from editinf for 24 hours due to a 3RR violation. Please be more careful in the future. Many thanks in advance. El_C 00:08, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

You are unblocked; those diffs were way too old to qualify. I didn't notice it because KazakhPol failed to follow the format and date them. I cautioned him about that and will try to be more cuatious in the future myself. Thanks, and sorry. Regards, El_C 13:46, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Kara Kyrgyz = People of kyrgyzstan, Kazakh Kyrgyz = People of kazakhstan. (Not used by USSR, before that these were the original names).

[edit] Dispute resolution

Hello Cs, I notice your endless conflicts with KazakhPol are continuing unabated. Now, personally I feel you are probably more right than wrong most of the time, but the trouble is, this doesn't mean much on wikipedia. If you are found continuously revert-warring, you will quite soon both end up indef-blocked. The only chance for you to survive this issue is if you can demonstrate you are behaving significantly better than the other side. What types of dispute resolution have you tried? Have you tried getting in outside voices through article RfC's? Have you tried mediation? I can tell you, this is probably the last chance for both of you to get some kind of constructive dispute resolution going. Hard though it may be, you simply have to be seen trying, and trying honestly. Fut.Perf. 17:21, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unassesed CA Articles

Hi - I finally got a chance to look into that, and I think I've taken care of the issue. I fixed the WikiProject template so it puts them into the proper category. Can you give it a look to make sure I didn't miss anything? Aelfthrytha 06:38, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Heads up! Brief 2 min appearance on Wikipedia, please?

Hey, just wanted to let you know that a brief vote on the "State Terrorism by the United States" page would be welcome. Just a "Keep" is all that's needed -- the nationalists on the page are taking an up-or-down vote on whether to rename it.

[edit] Urgent...هام

under the request of the Central Asian wikiproject of requested articles, i have created the following article called Central Asian Languages, and i have also researched to create a Map, but now their seems to be a group of Iranians dedicated to weaken surrounding Wiki-projects such as articles including the Arab states and Central Asian states, they have called the article for a speedy deletion, and they seem to bring their "friends" to support them..
